I Worked with professors and students on a National Science Foundation grant at UNM. My job involved:
- Coordinated a small team of students working on a 3D game in Unity teaching children about alternative energy
- Modeled and textured 3D houses and appliances using Maya and Photoshop
- Created photorealistic renders of a virtual house for the Solar Decathlon competition using Maya and Mental Ray
- Undertook training for 3D lighting as a student intern learning professional VFX pipelines and tools
- Added lighting for a virtual background in a shot for The Amazing Spiderman using Katana and Arnold
- Textured 3D buildings and structures in Maya for a virtual fly-through of a futuristic city
- Built out environments with buildings and added exterior architectural lighting
- Animated 3D anthropomorphic characters using Maya for a film teaching children how to play golf
- Animated facial rigs to match recorded dialog of speaking characters
