Here are some of the trees and biomes I worked on for Ghost of Tsushima. I made the birch trees in Izuhara and Kamiagata, the white flowering osmanthus trees for the Heavenly Strike mission, the dead grapple trees, and persimmon trees.
The branchcard textures were sculpted and textured by me. I also made the birch bark materials. All of the other bark materials I made using a blend of our internal texture library.
We have an incredible biome team here that I get to work with and learn from. This is only a tiny fraction of the trees and biomes in the game.
